Privacy Policy for Delivery Partners
This policy explains how AIIBLUE TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED ("OonDrop", "we") handles your personal data when you register and deliver with the OonDrop Delivery Partner app, as the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its Rules require. Registered office: No. 31A, Ground Floor, Dr. Seethapathy Nagar, 100 Feet Taramani Link Road, Chennai City Corporation, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600042, India.
1. What we collect
- Account details: name, phone number, email, photo, date of birth, address.
- Documents: driving licence, vehicle registration (RC), insurance, identity proof, and any other document the app asks for, with the photos you upload.
- Bank details: account number and IFSC for your payouts. The account number is stored encrypted, and only its last four digits are shown in the app.
- Location: your live location while you are online and during a delivery, and where you were when you picked up and delivered each order.
- Work records: deliveries, earnings, tips, payouts, cash collected and deposited, ratings, delivery problems you report, and drop-off photos.
- Device and app data: phone model, app version, notification token, and technical logs.
- Support: messages and photos in the support chat, and records of calls made through OonDrop's number (time, length and status; calls are not recorded).
2. Why we use it
- To check you can deliver and to keep your documents valid.
- To offer you delivery requests near you, guide you to the restaurant and the customer, and show customers where their order is.
- To pay you, keep tax and accounting records, and manage cash on delivery.
- To keep people safe, prevent fraud and handle complaints and delivery problems.
- To meet the law, including social security registration for platform workers.
We use your data only for these purposes. Where the law needs your consent, we ask for it in the app, and you can withdraw it (see section 5).
3. Who we share it with
- Customers: your first name, photo, vehicle and live location during their order. Calls go through OonDrop's number, so neither side sees the other's real number.
- Restaurants: your first name and that you are on the way, for the orders you pick up.
- Service providers who work for us: Amazon Web Services (hosting in Mumbai, India), Razorpay (payouts), Plivo (masked calls), Meta WhatsApp (sign-in codes), Google Maps (maps and routes), Expo and Firebase (notifications).
- Government bodies when the law requires it, such as for social security or tax.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. How long we keep it
- Your account data is kept while your account is open.
- Drop-off photos are deleted after the period set by OonDrop (today 30 days).
- When you delete your account, your personal details, documents, photos, bank details and location history are deleted after the grace period (today 30 days). Deliveries, earnings and payouts are kept without your name for as long as tax law requires (today 8 years).
5. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- ask us to correct or complete it;
- ask us to delete it (in the app: Profile > Delete my account, or on the web);
- withdraw consent you gave, as easily as you gave it (this may mean you can no longer deliver);
- nominate someone to use these rights for you if you die or cannot act;
- complain to our Grievance Officer and, if not resolved, to the Data Protection Board of India.
To use these rights, use the support chat or write to our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge a request within 24 hours and answer it within 15 days (and within 90 days at the latest).
6. Security
We protect your data with access controls, encryption of bank account numbers, encrypted connections and audit logs of who looked at your details. If a breach affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, the app shows the new version and asks you to read it.
